Amazing Critical Mass this past Friday. An estimated 85-90 cyclists showed up & participated in the monthly ride, this was our largest group thus far. Lots of new & enthusiastic riders, we even had one speed skater join us. The group rode north on Biscayne Blvd towards Miami Shores and then east over the Broadway Causeway passing though Bay Harbor Islands and Surfside. We then proceeded south through Miami Beach & back west into downtown via the Venetian Causeway. We ended the ride at the Firefly Bike Collective for their fundraiser event. Thanks to all those who came from near & far to participate in this monthly ride. Also special thanks to those who volunteer & cork at the intersections, this monthly ride is getting bigger and the more volunteers we have the better.

If you have pictures or videos from the ride you are encouraged to upload them to the Miami Critical Mass Facebook group.

Total distance ridden was 23 miles, the longest ride Miami Critical Mass has gone on. We usually ride only 12-15 miles. For those interested, here is a link to the route.

Here is the video from the July 31st ride.
