Miami Critical Mass : Friday, February 22nd

We will be riding through East Little Havana, West Flagler, Coral Gables/Miracle Mile, Coral Way, Shenandoah, Little Havana, Riverside, and Downtown. The route is available here, total distance is approximately 11.5 miles. It's strongly suggested that you print a copy of the map for yourself in case you are tardy or get lost. The ride stops/ends at The Filling Station, which offers specials on food & drinks for cyclists. It's conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Miami and just two blocks from Government Center.

Don't forget to bring bicycle lights. It's the law! We will be leaving at 7:15pm sharp. If you arrive late you will be left behind, the ride starts & ends in Downtown Miami. Rain or shine!

* Riders are advised to immediately clear the street and not obstruct traffic outside the downtown establishments once the ride is over, please move yourselves and bicycles to the surrounding sidewalks and/or parking lot across the street. Don't stand in the middle of the road.

Please read the tips & guidelines to help you understand what is expected of all participants on this community ride. Cyclists ride at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own safety! This is a very large group and you should all look out for one another.















Cue Notes:


The ride ends at The Filling Station where they will have specials for cyclists including some $3 beers and a $5 food menu (burgers, wings & veggie wraps), they also have indoor & outdoor seating plus an upstairs with televisions, foosball & air hockey. Bring a bicycle lock if you intend on going inside! See you there!

    Pero se esta convirtiendo en una.
    La idea es que todos vayamos en un grupo compacto, de esa manera no dejamos espacios abiertos para que los carros de metan y haya peligro mayor.
    Es necesario que los que esten pedaleando al frente, adelante mantengan una velocidad moderada. Ellos son los obligados a mantener un paso facil de seguir por la mayoria.
    Y de esa manera se cumple:THIS IS NOT A RACE!!!

    But is becoming one.
    The idea is that all go in a compact group, that way not leave open spaces for trucks from getting between the groups.
    That they are pedaling forward maintain a moderate speed.
    They are the required to maintain an easy step followed by the majority.
    And that way is true: THIS IS NOT A RACE!
