"One Year Ago this month, we set out on a Mission:
To empower the bicycling community with a workspace for affordable bicycles, repairs and educational workshops, thereby strengthening community bonds and encouraging Miami to adopt bicycling as a viable form of alternative transportation.

And we are happy to say that we have done a lot, but still have a long way to go.

Magic City Bicycle Collective will be celebrating our 1 Anniversary on June 29th from 4-10. Join Us and show your support.

FYXD 305 : CRANKaRT Alleycat

FYXD 305 and Soulful Gathering will be hosting their 3rd alleycat race on June 22nd. Registration is at 5pm and the race starts at 6pm. This is an urban art/scavenger hunt themed race, a camera phone or digital cameral is required. Expect to race through the streets of Miami while hitting up various murals or art installations along the way and photographing yourself with the art in background, the alleycat will begin at Margaret Pace Park and end at Magic City Bicycle Collective / The Corner.  There will be an after party at the finish with music, bbq, drinks, and games.

Race is open to everyone, helmets required.

4th Annual Miami Bike Prom

Emerge Miami is hosting their 4th annual Bike Prom this weekend. Bike Prom is a slow paced social ride, expect the hear tunes from the bicycle sound system and improv dance parties along the way. The group will ride around scenic downtown Miami. The ride ends at The Vagabond where participants will have the option to attend '90s Homecoming.

Formal attire highly suggested but not required, dress to impress. Bring a date or go stag, if you do decide to come alone bring bike pegs and pick up some random stranger off the street.
