"The 4G is back again for the second installment, because we have only done one, so this would be the second.

The 4G is the southernmost gravel grinder in the United States!! Will take place on the 21st and 22nd days of February 2015! The 21st will be a night ride in to the Everglades. The 22nd will be the 32mile and 62mile gravel grinder rides.

There is a scavenger hunt aspect to this ride/race as riders will have to stop to collect colored wristbands along the way, as they did last year. This year we will also have harder to find cards hidden on the routes, clues will be given as to where these may be, that will entitle the rider who finds it to the prize listed on that card.

Just like last year, this ride is free!! There is no registration fee. You will have to sign in and get your wristband though.

We will have volunteers running two stocked rest stops and providing some sag in case there are any mechanical issues that cannot be repaired on the trail.

Some very important reminders:
Riders should be self-sufficient and carry enough water, food, tubes, CO2, pumps and other items to help themselves on the trail. Some of the areas you will be riding into will not be accessible by motor vehicles to get you out. Hydration bags are strongly suggested. The course will not be closed to road traffic. Cyclist should ride accordingly and obey all traffic signs, signals and use caution at any crossings. Do not take any chances with yourself or others!

The event sponsors, organizers, staff and anyone else involved with this event are not responsible for your safety or well-being. We cannot stress this enough……You are responsible for you!!"
