Join Dade Heritage Trust, with partners Green Mobility Network and Brickell Bikes at 10am, the second Sunday each month for their themed bike tours, starting at Dade Heritage Trust HQ.  Tours are $10 or $5 for members of DHT and GMN.  Tours are family-friendly, leisurely, guided rides.  

Bike rentals are available in advance at Brickell Bikes, 70 SW 12 Street (305) 373-3633 or day of at Dade Heritage Trust!  Kids must be experienced cyclists to participate.  Learn about Miami's history, architecture, parks and special places!  These tours are a great way to explore Miami!


Sunday, May 14: Mother May I go to Wynwood?
This bike tour explores Miami’s artsy Wynwood neighborhood with stops at points of interest and treats and beverages from our friends at Nomad Tribe on 2nd Avenue.
Sunday,  June 11: Summer in Spring Garden
Spring Garden is a hidden gem - one of Miami’s most lovely Historic Districts on the north bank of the Miami River. We’ll visit historic homes, a park and talk to neighborhood activists about maintaining the character of area.

Sunday,  July 9: Lighthouse High in July
Many years ago, Dade Heritage Trust assisted in the preservation of the Cape Florida Lighthouse and on this date, we get a special tour and climb to the top for incredible views. This ride starts at the first entrance to Crandon Park where we at 10am. Look for the signs.

Sunday,  August 13: Stylin’ in the Design District and Buena Vista East
Tour the world famous Miami Design District - which is also adjacent to the Buena Vista East Historic District. Our District experts will explain the architecture and appeal of this fah-bulous neighborhood.

Sunday, September 10: The Secrets of Sewell Park
Bet you’ve never been to Sewell Park on the Miami River! This waterfront City of Miami Park is at 1801 NW South River Drive and is named after former Miami Mayor, Everest George Sewell.

Sunday, October 8: Let’s Take a Ride to Morningside
Ahhh Morningside, lovely homes, shady streets and a wonderful respite from busy Biscayne Boulevard. This ambitious ride takes us over 50 blocks north of downtown. We will utilize the baywalk as much as possible for great views.

Sunday, November 12: To The Alamo!
No, silly, not the one in Texas, but building on the Miami Jackson Medical Campus that was the very first Miami City Hospital. This lovely historic hospital, now a Museum and offices, resides smack dab in the middle of campus.
