"Don't miss out on this red hot mountain bike extravaganza at Virginia Key. Dirt Devils Mountain Bike Festival is brought to you by Velosport Events in partnership with Scott, Specialized and Bike Tech with a portion of the proceeds going to Virginia Key Bicycle Club."

Participants get:
  • Entry to race.
  • 1 FREE beer ticket. (soft drinks for anyone 20 or younger)
  • Event T-Shirt.
  • FREE raffle ticket for all registered participants.
  • All kids 8 or younger race for free (medals for all kids).
Custom medals will be awarded to all kids (8 or younger), everyone in the novice category and top 5 places on each category.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the EXPERT and SPORT categories.

Bike Tech gift cards will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the BASE categories.

The race will feature the following categories: Novice, Base, Sports and Expert. Our start and finish will take place in the trails at the Virginia Key MTB park trailhead.

Distances
Kids (8-under): laps inside the first trail and obstacle course, this is a participation event without time. | Junior (9-17) 1 lap 6.5 miles | Novice: 1 laps 6.5 miles | Base: 2 laps 13 miles | Sport: 3 laps 19.5 miles | Expert: 4 laps 26 miles.

Wave Starts will begin at 8:00 AM am for the MTB Celebration.

Race for FREE Information
Our race for FREE Incentive Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $60 VE Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 6 hours. We ask volunteers to email oscar@velosportevents.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Categories:
Expert: Participants will compete in the following age categories: Female open category. Male 18-44, male 45+.Top 5 on each age category will earn a custom event medal, Top 3 will earn cash prizes: 3rd place $50.00, 2nd place $100.00 and 1st place $150.00.

Sports: Participants will compete in the following age categories: Female open category. Male 18-29, male 30-39, male 40-49, male 50+. Top 5 on each age category will earn a custom event medal, Top 3 will earn cash prizes: 3rd place $50.00, 2nd place $75.00 and 1st place $100.00.

Base: Participants will compete in the following age categories: Female open category. Male 18-29, male 30-39, male 40-49, male 50+. Top 5 on each age category will earn a custom event medal, Top 3 will earn Bike Tech gift card prizes: 3rd place $20.00, 2nd place $50.00 and 1st place $75.00.

Novice: Participants will compete in the following categories: Female open category. Male open category. All participants will receive a medal.

Kids: Participants will ride in the first trail and the obstacle course as much as they want. All participants will receive a medal.
