The Rumble in the Jungle is a 50 mile mountain bike race with Solo and Team categories. Teams may consist of up to 4 riders. There is a 25 Solo option and Kids races. Race is Sunday August 12. Kids races start at 8AM. Rumble 25 mile and 50 mile races start at 9AM.

- Class designation is the last class you raced in during the past 5 years. Sport team no more than one Expert member. Intermediate team no more than one Sport member. Novice team no more than one Intermediate member. *Solo categories may be combined if there are not at least 3 registered racers in a category.

- All kids 3-11 will receive a medal. 1,2,3,4,5 place winners will be announced. Kid races to start 1 hour before the main event. Kids 3-5 may ride bikes or push-bikes. No bikes with training wheels allowed. (1) Parent may walk or ride along with each 3-5 year old child. Parents for 6-11 will be allowed to ride behind the group and must not impede other racers. All racers and parents on bikes must wear helmets.

25 Mile Solo Categories:

Team Categories:
Team Expert 2-4 riders
Team Sport 2-4 riders

Team Co-Ed 2-4 riders

Youth Categories:
3-5: fun ride (no registration required)
Boys 6-8: 1 lap kids course
Boys 9-11: 1 lap kids course
Girls 6-11: 1 lap kids course

Please support the Markham Park Mountain Bike Trails by entering the race, whether you ride one lap or more your support of the trails is in your benefit. All proceeds go to the Markham Park Trail Building Fund  and will be used to build and maintain YOUR Markham Park Trail System.


Fees:
Adult Online early registration $35 now until 6/30 midnight. Registration goes up to $40 7/1-8/10 Registration closes at Friday 8/10 at 9pm.
Adult in person: $45/rider Saturday 8/11 10AM-4PM at Packet Pickup. (NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION)
Youth 3-5: Free
Youth 6-11: $10

Packet Pickup will be Saturday August 11, 2018 at Mega Cycle, 1390 SW 160th Ave, Weston/Sunrise, FL. Hours: 10AM-4PM.
