Survey Says

The Metropolitan Center at Florida International University (FIU) for the Metropolitan Planning Organization in conjunction with the Miami-Dade County Park & Recreation Department is conducting a study. The survey will help better Miami-Dade County local non-motorized shared use paths trails and greenways for their users and the whole community.

  1. when i got to one of the last questions concerning how to pay for path improvements, there were to options concerning cyclists covering some costs.
    1. taxes on bike parts
    2. yearly registration of bikes
WELL, the last time i checked, bicycles aren't the only things that go on paths.
why not tax pants? people sit on the benches.
tax roller blades? they might go on the path.
    running shoes? socks? bare feet?
WHY IS THEIR SOLUTION TO MAKE CYCLISTS PAY??????
