Here's a list of South Florida trails, paths, and greenways for those who prefer to not ride on the road with motorists. Most of these are paved trails, however the levees, WMAs, and MTB park trails are not and will require a bicycle with off-road tires.

There's so much to explore in South Florida by bicycle. Escape the city traffic and venture along some of these scenic trails. Visit a local MTB park, many have trails for beginners. Understand and obey all signage and recommendations, and ride within your limits.

For a truly traffic-free ride check out some of the levee gravel trails we have which parallel canals in the Everglades. Make sure to bring plenty of water, repair tools, sunscreen, etc. There's is little shade from the sun and typically no facilities along levees.
