Today is the soft launch of Ride the City - Miami. Ride the City is a bicycle route planner that helps cyclists map a safe bike route from point A to point B. Like other bicycle maps and routing tools, Ride the City finds the shortest distance between two points. Volunteers and Open Street Map users are still adding bike routes and improving the map. Give Ride the City a try and let them know how it's working for you.
First, Ride the City avoids roads that aren't meant for bicycling, like highways and busy streets. Second, Ride the City steers bikes to routes that maximize bike lanes, bike paths, greenways, and other bicycle friendly streets while avoiding steep hills.
Miami is the 44th city to get the safe bike routing tool since its inception in 2008 (first starting in New York City.)
App available for iOS and Android.

We'll be starting off at 4pm at 5 Napkin Grill on South Beach! We'll then make a stop at The Abbey, World Of Beer (Midtown), Gramps, and finally The Filling Station. The pub crawl conveniently ends near the Government Center Metrorail Station in Downtown Miami for those who wish to take the train back home vs riding.
Suggested route available here. Total distance is approximately 9 miles (13 miles if you ride from downtown to Miami Beach).
Remember to bring a bicycle lock. A light is also recommended since it'll be dusk by the time we leave the last bar. The pub crawl should be over by 9:30pm. Cyclists ride at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own safety!
Please remember to DRINK RESPONSIBLY, obey all traffic laws and be courteous to others. This is not a Critical Mass ride and there will be no corking. We invite you to come out and have a good time, meet new cyclists, try some different beers, but most importantly to ride safely. 21+
