Friday, October 30th @ 6:30pm
Government Center
101 NW First St
Downtown Miami
This month Critical Mass falls on Friday, October 30th, the day before Halloween. To celebrate we will be having a costume party throughout the streets of Miami on bicycles. The ride will be passing through Little Havana, Mary Brickell Village, Downtown, Bayside, Edgewater, Design District, Wynwood & Midtown. 17.5 miles total. Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required. Invite all your friends with bikes & encourage them to wear costumes. See you there!
Safety tips for cyclist wearing costumes:
If your costume requires a mask or other face covering, you should be able to see clearly and breathe easily at all times. Make sure your costume will not get caught in the wheels, gears, or pedals.
Here are some costume ideas for cyclists. If any of you have Halloween attire ideas feel free to post them in the comments.
You could always get yourself a life size E.T. doll, red hoodie, '82 Kuwahara with milk crate and prepare for flight.
P.S. Don't forget to bring bicycle lights! :)
While on the subject of safety make sure to check out the recently updated Miami Critical Mass guidelines.
The rides leaves at 7pm sharp, it's ideal to arrive around 6:30pm to view the route map as it will not be posted online this month.
Please add the "last Friday of the month" Miami Critical Mass group on Facebook or Myspace if you have not already done so.
