Here's a quick video from this morning's 2nd Saturday of each month 10am Emerge Miami / Meetup Critical Mass ride. I was experimenting with a new homemade camera mount and the time-lapse feature on my Canon SD1100. I'm not pleased with the results, the footage is shaky (surprise!) and I may have to play with the intervals a bit. Once I tweak the mount/camera settings to my liking, I believe it can be something I enjoy using for leisurely bike rides/nature trails, etc.
The video starts off at Vizcaya (Metrorail Station) and goes through Coconut Grove, the footage ends at Peacock Park where the group stopped to take a brief break before continuing their ride.

Hey, wait a minute...
ReplyDeleteI wasn't that fast when I was young!
Very cool. Totally worth the seizure, too.
ReplyDeleteNice experiment. I'd like to know more about your handlebar mount.
ReplyDeleteThe more I read, the more feedback I get, the more I look at all the videos you have, the more I think that the Saturday Emerge Miami rides do themselves a bit of a disservice by branding themselves as Critical Mass. But that's for another post. :-)
