Meet at Government Center at 7pm

Join us Sunday night as we embark on a group bicycle ride from Government Center to a FREE showing of Medicine for Melancholy at Sweat Records. This is in conjunction with the Borscht Film Festival. The weather is supposed to be nice that evening.

About the film:

"A love story of bikes and one-night stands told through two African-American twenty-somethings dealing with issues of class, identity, and the evolving conundrum of being a minority in rapidly gentrifying San Francisco-a city with the smallest proportional black population of any other major American city."

Sweat Records
5505 NE 2nd Ave
Miami, FL 33137

Film starts at 8pm

Free CCCV cocktails (Jupina & Rum) may be served. CCCV is the Roman numeral for 305.

We will return to Government Center once the film is over.
It's a nice commute, approximately 9 miles round trip.

*Please bring lights for your bicycles. A bicycle lock is also recommended.

About Borscht:

We are a yearly event held at iconic Miami venues that commissions and showcases films created by emerging artists telling Miami stories that go beyond the typical portrayal of the city as a beautiful but vapid party town, forging the cinematic identity of the city. We are the home of the CCCV New Wave."
