This morning a story on the burgeoning sport of Miami Bike Polo aired on WLRN 91.3FM.
Listen now
"Every Friday and Sunday, twenty or so people gather under I-95 at Jose Marti park in Miami and play polo on bicycles. WLRN-Miami Herald reporter Haley White joined the bicycle polo players last weekend. She learned how a funny-looking game played with mallets made out of ski poles has become a community-building force that supports a social movement."
Bike Polo schedule:
Jose Marti Park
(Basketball courts under I-95 on SW 5th Street, between 3rd & 4th Ave)
