The 2017 Rumble in the Jungle is August 13th at 8:00am. NEW this year: Kids race will start at 7am! If you haven't already registered, you can now register online or in person at MegaCycle.

The Rumble in the Jungle is a 50 mile mountain bike race with Solo and Team categories. Teams may consist of up to 4 riders.

- Class designation is the last class you raced in during the past 5 years. Sport team no more than one Expert member. Intermediate team no more than one Sport member. Novice team no more than one Intermediate member.

- Solo categories may be combined if there are not at least 3 registered racers in a category.

- All kids 3-11 will receive a medal. 1,2,3 place winners will be announced. Kid races to start 1 hour before the main event. Kids 3-7 may ride bikes or push-bikes. No bikes with training wheels allowed. (1) Parent may walk or ride along with each 3-7 year old child. Parents for 8-11 will not be allowed to ride along with their child. This is for safety and to not impede other racers. All racers and parents on bikes must wear helmets.

Team Categories:
Expert 2-4 riders

Base 2-4 riders
Novice 2-4 riders
All Female 2-4 riders
Co-Ed 2-4 riders

Youth Categories:
3-7: 1 Mile participation ride
8-11 Boys: One lap kids course 3-4 miles
8-11 Girls: One lap kids course 3-4 miles

Please support the Markham Park Mountain Bike Trails by entering the race, whether you ride one lap or more your support of the trails is in your benefit. All proceeds go to the Markham Park Trail Building Fund and will be used to build and maintain YOUR Markham Park Trail System.

Online Registration cost is $35 per adult, till Aug 11, 2017 9pm.
Youth 3-7: FREE
Youth 8-11: $20

Any adult walkup registrations will be charged $45 per person.

Package pickup will be available Sat Aug 12, 2017 in the morning at Rock and Road Bike Shop. Hours: 10am - 4pm
