The Markham Park Mountain Bike Trail system is built and maintained by a very small dedicated group of volunteer workers. At Markham Park, the sole financial support comes from you the user. We rely solely on donations from users to purchase all of our trail building materials and tools. That is why your donations are so very important to the continued existence of the Markham Park Trail system.

The purpose of The Markham Park Trail Building Fund is to raise awareness and promote the growth of the volunteer group. Additionally, the Markham Park Trail Building Fund’s goal is to solicit donations, raise money and manage donated funds.

If you’ve been to the park lately you probably have seen the work going on. We are currently building a Jump Line. It will be the first of its kind in Broward County specifically built for mountain bikes with a beginner line and progression. We have spent over $5,000 in dirt, clay and tools. We have plans to build a wood deck with drop-in ramp to start the jump line.

Please donate today to the Markham Park Trail Building Fund!
