Explore Miami with Dade Heritage Trust Bike Tours!

Dade Heritage Trust invites you to join us the second Sunday of each month and get to know the beauty, diversity, architecture and history of the Magic City on a bike! Our Urban Miami Bike Tours provide amazing opportunities to learn about new places and historic spaces throughout Miami. All tours begin at Dade Heritage Trust, 190 SE 12 Terrace, unless otherwise noted. Dade Heritage Trust does not provide bikes. Riders must bring their own bikes or rent a Citibike nearby. Riders must be experienced and confident enough to navigate urban Miami streets.

June 9
The Mysteries of Matheson Hammock
This ride meets at Matheson Hammock Park, 9610 Old Cutler Road.
Matheson Hammock is a Miami-Dade County Heritage Park and the oldest park in the County! This ride, which explores the significant historic structures inside the park includes a bit of hiking too! Meet at Matheson Hammock Park Main Entrance, go inside and look for the DHT tent on the left.

July 14
Roll (to) The Dice House in Continental Park
Participants will board the Metrorail at Brickell Station with bikes for a ride to the Dadeland South Station. From there, we head south on the Busway Bike Trail to the Dice House – Kendall’s oldest pioneer home.

August 11
Bike the Bluff
Silver Bluff is a Miami neighborhood you know but didn’t realize it was called Silver Bluff! Close to Coconut Grove, Little Havana, Shenandoah and the Roads, Silver Bluff features shady streets and lovely homes – perfect for a Sunday morning ride.

September 8
Big Ride to Little Haiti
Little Haiti – once known as Lemon City – is changing rapidly. We’ll get a glimpse of Haitian culture, food, art and more on this ride on Miami’s Upper Eastside. This is a long ride through urban Miami, but great sites along the way!

October 13
Take the Last Train to Brownsville
Brownsville is a Miami-Dade County neighborhood with significant historic sites. This traditional African-American neighborhood offers a glimpse of the days of segregation in Miami and has amazing stories to tell. Participants board the Metrorail at Brickell Station with bikes for a ride to the Brownsville Station.

November 10
What's Up Downtown
Dade Heritage Trust is a big fan of downtown, its potential and historic places. Today, riders will get special insider tours of downtown’s most significant buildings and we guarantee you will agree downtown is hot and cool!
