Love to ride bikes in Miami? Come and learn about proposed improvements to one of Miami's best, yet underutilized trails!

Our excellent partner and community leader Dade Heritage Trust is hosting an exhibit of visions of the future of the Commodore Trail. Don't miss it! The exhibition begins at DHT on Sunday, Sept. 7, and ends Sunday, Sept. 15

Special events include:

Saturday, September 7 @ 10am: Family-friendly bike ride from Coconut Grove to Dade Heritage Trust to view the exhibit. Light refreshments and camaraderie with other cyclists. This approximately 6-mile round trip ride starts at the Kirk Munroe Tennis Center in Coconut Grove (Oak Ave. and Matilda St.) Helmets required for all cyclists. Sunday, September 7 @ 11:30am: Opening Reception. Join Dade Heritage Trust and the Friends of the Commodore Trail for the opening reception of the Commodore Trail exhibit featuring renderings by FIU students and bike trail information. Complimentary mimosas and refreshments. Dade Heritage Trust is located at 190 SE 12 Terrace in Brickell. Click here to join the guest list.

Saturday, September 14 @ 3pm: Special presentation on the history and future of the Commodore Trail at Dade Heritage Trust. Friends of the Commodore Trail co-chair Hank Sanchez-Resnik presents this talk about the Commodore Trail and why Trail restoration and improvements should be a priority for the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County.
