Yesterday afternoon was the inaugural Coral Springs Critical Mass ride. About 20 cyclists participated in the ride which started at The Walk and ended about 9 miles later at Betti Stradling Memorial Park. The group was composed mostly of young guys trying to encourage cycling throughout their city, they reminded me a lot of the last Friday of the month Miami Critical Mass circa Fall 2007. Hopefully they continue to do this as the presence of cyclists on the streets is needed throughout all of S. Florida.
