Miami Wheelers : Early 90s Video

Excellent tv news footage from 1991 featuring Miami's first pro cycling team.. The Miami Wheelers. The Wheelers were part of the Atlantic Coast Conference in the now long defunct National Cycling League. The video quality is poor but well worth the watch. The Wheelers went on to become the Miami Wave in 1993. Some of these guys still race today and/or are involved with cycling.
Joe Avalos (RIP)

BTW the 2:05 mark on video, definitely "mega uncool".

Ft. Lauderdale : River Rat Alleycat 2

This should be fun, last year's race was exciting. My highlights included riding through a trailer park after a missed turn and throwing my bike over a wall in someone's back yard while some dude yelled at me to get off his property. Fun times, until I got a flat and walked back to the finish.
